Field notes
Traps & myths — what breaks dashboards
- There are several different “CHZ”. Native on 88888 · the legacy Ethereum ERC-20 (what many aggregators show first) · bridged versions on Solana/Base. Price from one ledger + supply from another = a broken chart.
- Fan tokens have V1 and V2 bodies. The 2026 decimal migration (0 → 18) moved every token to NEW contracts; stale listings point at dead V1s. Our registry uses the official address book only.
- Many club tokens are proxies. Implementation for events, proxy for balances — backwards, and a very alive club looks dead.
- Treasury burns are not float burns. Burn-to-Glory pulled from team treasuries; circulating barely moved. A burn ledger without the from-wallet role is fan fiction.
- Five prices, zero NAV. Socios book · Binance · FanX/Kayen · Jupiter · Base pools — a 20% venue “discount” is usually exit-tax + FX + a weekend book, not arb.
- Utility can be switched off (Portugal, 2024) — it is a dated state, not a property; and votes are not governance (armbands, not budgets — RSTP 18bis forbids more).
- Branded PoSA chain (Socios, PSG, OKX, Ankr among validators) with a ~2,501-gwei gas floor that breaks Ethereum-tuned tooling.
